Kenny is a great guy. He is also trustworthy and dependable-that is why he is the bank when we play Monopoly and the Treasurer of Growing Washington. His amazing personality and communication style also places him in charge of public relations and our human resource department.

Kenny Cox was born and grew up in the small town of Canon City, CO, and after spending 4 years at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, CO, he obtained his B.A. in Communications. Feeding his passion to explore and experience new places he has also lived in California , Oregon , and Alaska . Aware that the northwest has become a special place in his heart, he now resides in Bellingham, Washington.

Kenny currently works in human resources for a health management company, but also has professional experience in non-profit program support. In alignment with pursuing his goals of consistently making a positive impact in our society, especially our youth, Kenny plans to be an educator and school counselor. He strives to give back to the communities that have so richly welcomed him and provided him with the opportunities to build strong relationships and success. 

Aside from his professional and volunteer interests, the NW provides a great arena for fueling his outdoor interests and hobbies including fly-fishing, hiking, backpacking, softball, soccer, photography and canoeing.just to name a few. He is gifted with a great family and vast group of friends who provide him with much support and love. His favorite activities include time spent with his family, friends and local community.
