Joshua serves as the glue that keeps our farming operations running. When a tractor breaks down, a greenhouse needs built, a new irrigation system needs placed, or the truck won’t start, he is the guy that our whole team relies upon. His forward thinking and innovative nature serve to make him a leader on our team when it comes to sustainable design, alternative energy, or efficiency in farming techniques. Born and raised on the Alm Hill Gardens farm and under the tables of Pike Place Market (where he would tie customers' shoe-laces together), Joshua is also our most experienced new generation farmer. His vast knowledge of crops, his ability to drive a tractor while blindfolded, and his monkey-like dexterity, in addition to his other endearing qualities, have positioned him as an irreplaceable asset on our farm and an upcoming leader in Washington agriculture.
