Winter CSA
Join the Local Choice Food Box for local, organic fruits and vegetables this winter!

This year the Local Choice Food Box will be offering two winter sessions commencing immediately after the conclusion of the Summer CSA.  Specific information on the 2010 Winter CSA Program will be available mid-summer.

Choose Your Box Options
We will offer a small box and a large box for the winter sessions. Both will include available local fruit.

Small Vegetable Box
The small box contains eight items each week that you choose from what's fresh on the farm. The share costs $24 per week.

Large Vegetable Box
The large vegetable box costs $36 per week for 12 items.

Choose Your Food
Each week you fill your box with the vegetables and fruit you want from the more than 30 winter crops available from local farms. Growing Washington will provide most of the vegetables from its two farms in Woodinville and Everson. However, to increase the number of crops available and to be able to offer fruit, we will also provide food from other local, organic growers.

So, order your favorites each week or try something new. Because you choose the food that goes in to your box, you know you will eat it, making the Local Choice Food Box a better value than a CSA where you don't get to choose the food you receive. Pick Up Your Food Box
We harvest your food, pack it in boxes and have it to your neighborhood pick-up location in less than 36 hours making for delicious, vitamin-filled meals. Current winter pick-up locations include Ballard Farmers Market, University District Farmers Market, West Seattle Farmers Market, and the Beacon Hill neighborhood.
